Fungal Problems
A common condition that disfigures and can destroy toenails. Fungal problems are usually more common in little and big toes and can be:

Discoloured (usually white or yellow)

Brittle
-
Crumbly, or have rough, jagged edges

Thick
-
Separated from the nail bed
-
Curled up or down, or are distorted in shape
Chronic circulatory conditions increase risk - ie diabetes
Generally effects over 60 years of age.
